Job Description

  • Analyzes and creates a plan for engaging the target market
  • Understands analytic software(s) and how they provide business value
  • Work to develop new sales opportunities within the assigned territory which will generate sales to overachieve revenue, margin, growth
  • Prepares sales visits and presentations to pitch product, services, and combination packages to clients
  • Demonstrates IT equipment to highlight product benefits
  • Assesses client IT needs and makes recommendations, including IT equipment and service packages
  • Negotiates sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients
  • Establishes sales goals and implements a plan to meet those goals
  • Answering requests from prospective customers
  • Work with the technical team to develop solutions
  • Has a reliable mode of transportation to facilitate travel from one client site to another.
  • Responsible for marketing and customer relationships
  • Becomes fluent in all products and services offered by the employer through testing, demonstrations, and research
  • Answers questions, describe benefits and discusses the pros and cons of various competing products or services
  • Gains familiarity with the IT industry, and stays updated on trends and innovative products
  • Creates marketing literature and web-based features to promote products and time-sensitive sales and generate awareness, interest, and excitement via social media
  • Attends trade exhibitions and industry events to learn about cutting-edge products and sales
