Job Title: General Manager

Job Location: Dansoman, Greater Accra

Job Description

  • Develop an innovative and strategic plan for the company to achieve targets set by the Board
  • Determine and direct future value-added service enhancement decisions based on client wants and needs
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and agreement terms with senior-level stakeholders and new and potential vendors and clients
  • Identify opportunities for innovation to ensure the company has a leadership position within an increasingly competitive industry landscape
  • Liaise with HR to establish clear organizational structures and succession plans aligned with appropriate responsibilities, accountabilities and personal development for all staff
  • Actively engage the customer and monitor product experience continuously improving products and services 
  • Develop a wide range of relationships with local and international partners to position the Company to take advantage of opportunities in the industry
  • Develop an annual report that provides clear direction on strategy, delivery and performance
  • Provide quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors on the company's financial performance
  • To monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations not only of the company but also of those affected by the parent company and generally assisting with the resolution of related compliance problems
  • Any other additional responsibility or task assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in a relevant field
  • At least 3-5 years’ work experience in a Managerial role
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • High personal standards and goal oriented
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent and effective communications skills
  • Strong Budgeting and Financial skills
