Job Title: General Manager

Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra

Job Description

  • Manage all accounting operation based on accounting principles
  • Prepare monthly finance report to management and quarterly financial report to audit and finance committee
  • Prepare budget, income and Expenditure, Bank Reconciliation, Balance Sheet and all financial forecast of the Association
  • Collect, analyzed and summarize account information
  • Develop periodic report for management and board
  • Preparation and presentation of financial statement in time
  • Preparing periodic financial statements including budgets, cash flows, variances analysis and commentaries
  • Providing a support services by working with all department and the management team to help make financial decisions
  • Advising on the financial implications and consequence of the association
  • Analyzing financial performance of the association
  • Offering professional judgments on financial matters and advising on improving performances
  • Monitoring and evaluating financial information system and suggesting improvement when needed
  • Implementing corporate governance procedures risk management and internal controls
  • Report to General Manager and serve as secretary to the finance committee

Qualification and Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor degree in accounting or a relevant field
  • At least 3 years’ minimum work experience
  • Proven technical ability
  • Understanding of modern management information system
  • Ability to manage, delegate, motivate, monitor and conclude team activity
  • Excellent inter personal skill with the ability to communicate at all levels with financial and non- financial managements
