The Fund Accounting department is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day accounting and administration of investment funds. This role will cover many types of investment funds including pension funds, mutual funds, investment clubs and welfare funds. We are recruiting highly motivated, self-driven and detailed oriented accountants.

Job Title: Fund Accountant

 

Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra

 

Job Description

·         Preparation of timely and accurate Net Assets Values

·         Allocation of capital for investment

·         Maintenance of cash books

·         Processing of subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and switches

·         Preparation of fund operations and scheme administrator’s reports

·         Assist in and coordinate the auditing of funds

·         Manage pensioner payroll and oversee payment of taxes on behalf of clients

·         Reconcile various accounts, and promptly researching and correcting any variances

·         Ensuring compliance with regulatory statutes and policies

·         Participate in the management of relationships with key customers

 

 

Qualification and Requirements

·         A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, BCom A professional accounting certification (ACCA/CA(Gh)

·         At least 4 – 7 years post qualification experience

·         Proficiency with Microsoft office suite (excel, word, PowerPoint)

·         Advanced knowledge of pensions, insurance and investment

·         Excellent written and communication skills

·         Strong organizational

·         Attention for detail

·         Ability to work on without supervision

·         Ability to work for long hours
