Our financial advisory demands are growing as our clientele grows. As such, we are currently seeking experienced Financial Planners to setup and manage financial advisory function within our company. The ideal candidates for this position are finance or insurance professionals who have experience providing sound financial advice to a wide range of individuals, groups and institutions. Successful applicants will constitute the core team that will provide strategic advice to clients about debt management, cash management, investments, risk management and estate planning. As a Financial Planner, your role will involve assisting clients to understand their financial circumstances and provide guidance on how to reach their financial objectives.

Job Description

  • Provide financial planning, insurance and investment advice to clients
  • Assess client’s overall financial picture, and understand their needs to devise an appropriate financial plan
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, keeping them updated about any changes affecting their finances
  • Recommending appropriate financial products to help clients achieve their overall objectives
  • Managing client relationships and finding new business
  • Keeping clients regularly updated about their pensions, insurance and other investments
  • Assisting clients to plan for retirement
  • Design pension schemes and benefits packages for corporate clients

 

Qualification and Requirements

  • Minimum of a  bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics; Accounting, Statistics or Actuarial Science
  • At least 5 – 10 years post qualification experience in investment, pensions or insurance
  • A Master’s Degree or a CFA/CFP certification will be an advantage
  • Strong ability to analyze financial and economic data and provide adequate financial advice
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite (excel, word, PowerPoint), particularly, use of financial functions in excel
  • Advanced knowledge of pensions, insurance and investment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • A solution orientated approach to problem solving
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Highly self-motivated and self-managed
