Job Description

Job Purpose

• To be responsible for all the Finance, Accounting, Budgetary and Strategic planning functions of the company in line with organizational objectives and goals.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

• Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures

• Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy

• Ensure that all statutory requirements like SSF, PAYE, Withholding Taxes are met

• Evaluate financial impact of new business ventures

 

Qualification and Requirements

• A Qualified Accountant ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) or Accounting/Finance degree from a recognized University

• Highly computer literacy with good knowledge in Microsoft Applications would be an added advantage

• Should be between the ages of 35 to 45 years

• Should have at least 8 years relevant working experience in the role

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

• Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills

• High sense of integrity
