Job Title: Engineering Coordinator


Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra


Job Description

  • Plans and directs the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment
  • Provides engineering direction to ensure Health and Safety conditions at all areas in relation to its human capital, assets and properties
  • Builds and provides a good relation of the engineering and operation activities with internal and external environmental stakeholders
  • Motivates, develops and lead a team of workforce to provide the required engineering support for business manufacturing systems
  • Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures
  • Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department
  • Provides leadership in maintaining systems' integrity through rigorous repair and maintenance schedules
  • Develops updates engineering codes and standards and liaising with statutory authorities
  • Lead an effective asset care management system with relevant engineering spares strategy
  • Inputs to departmental budget and control budget performance to targets assigned


Qualification and Requirements

  • A minimum of a BSc. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • At least 8-10 years work experience 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Required

  • Analytical and auditing skills
  • Advanced project management and engineering skills
  • Technically knowledgeable and ability to advise and direct accordingly
  • Good understanding of HSE practices / legislation and best practices
