Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Arranges and participate in internal and external client debriefs through corporate presentations and software demonstrations
  • Ensures that all Business Development Executives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, and services that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Monitor and report on all sales/marketing activities whether closed or ongoing to management


Qualifications 

  • A first degree in Marketing or any related field
  • A Masters degree will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years Sales/Business Development experience in the technology or service industry two of which must be in a managerial position
  • Ability to influence decision makers especially at the C-Levels
  • Self-motivated and target oriented person
  • Must have a very strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in goal setting, sales target preparation and tactical plan preparation aligned with corporate goals
  • Experience in selling software or services and understands the IT industry
  • Establish guiding strategies, procedures for efficient and effective traceability procedures in a fast growing IT Industry
  • Must have strong and proven leadership skills in people management
  • Must be able to speak and write English as the official working language
