Job Title: Brands Manager-Detergents


Job Location: Dzorwulu, Greater Accra


Job Description

  • Carrying out market research in order to keep up to date with customer trends and preferences,as well as trying to predict future trends
  • Developing strategies and managing marketing campaigns to ensure that products and services meet customers’ expectations and to build the credibility of brands (increase brand awareness)
  • Research competition and identify opportunities for growth
  • Develop effective media campaigns and choosing appropriate distribution channels
  • Coordinate with the Sales & Marketing team to ensure consistency with the product line strategy
  • Maintain contact with vendors and distributors to get critical input on how product design and implementation can be improved
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports on the performance of the brand
  • Any other responsibility in relation to this job role which will be added by management from time to time

Qualification and Requirements

  • Minimum of first degree in Marketing or related field; MBA will be an added advantage
  • Must have at least 5 years’ work experience as a Brand Manager or in a related position in the FMCG industry specifically in detergents (liquid soaps, hand wash, liquid floor cleaners etc)
  • Must have an excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with online content marketing and social media development strategies
  • Must be between the ages of 31 to 40 years
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft office Suite (Word & Excel)
  • Ability to work multitask and prioritize tasks
