Job Description

The Office of the Head of the Local Government Service (OHLGS) is inviting applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians to fill vacant positions in the Local Government Service in Brong Ahafo, Central, Northern, Upper East, Upper West, Volta and Western Regions. The vacant positions are as follows:

OHLGS 4: Assistant Development Planning Officers

Job purpose:

  • To assist in the preparation and implementation of development policies and projects

Accountability:

  • The Assistant Development Planning Officer shall report to the Head of Department/Unit

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Planning, Development Economics, Economics, or relevant discipline

Remuneration:

  • The Assistant Development Planning Officer is a graduate (first degree) entry position with salary level SSSP 16L and other attractive fringe benefits

Please note:
  • Applicants for positions OHLGS 1-OHLGS 9 must have completed the mandatory National Service
