Accountant needed to manage all financial transactions for a food distribution business

Job Description

Responsibilities

  •  Maximize returns on financial assets by establishing and implementing financial policies, procedures, controls, reporting systems and accountability requirements.

  • Prepare accurate and timely weekly and monthly management accounts, reports (P&L, Cash flow, Balance Sheet) and Forecasting
  • Payroll management, PAYE, SSNIT, Corporate tax and other statutory requirements
  • Petty Cash Management
  • Daily reconciliation


Requirements
  • At least 2 years experience working in the FMCG sector, preferably food wholesaling/retailing business
  • Computer literate and fully conversant with Quickbooks ERP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Impeccable Risk Management and Reduction skills
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
  •  Lives within easy access to Spintex Road
