Job Description

  • Recording daily transactions relating to receipts and payments
  • Preparation of cheque and cash payment vouchers (PV)
  • Preparing cash and bank reconciliation statements and adjusting journals
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and analysis
  • Preparation and submission of PAYE, Withholding taxes and SSNIT contributions for submission
  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and General Ledger Structure
  • Ensure an accurate and timely daily, monthly and end of year procedures.
  • Ensure timely reporting to  Administrator and   Director 
  • Support budget and forecasting activities
  • Monitor and analyze Department Work to develop more efficient procedures   and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy


Qualification and Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting  
  • At least 2 years relevant professional experience 
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software will be an added advantage
