Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for guiding and directing the overall prevision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the entire company. Specifically this position oversees and directs all recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, change management and training program for the company


Job Description

HR Strategic Planning

  • Develop the organizational human resources strategy in compliance with corporate group strategy
  • Design human resources department structure, positions and process system in compliance to its strategic mandate
  • Review, amend and draft job description and qualifications required for the staff of the human resources department
  • Formulate HR Plans, Policies &procedures according to organizational objectives

HR Administration

  • Prepare HR budget and ensure the activities within budget
  • Provide technical & Professional Advice to Legal Representative for legal proceedings related to HR

Manpower Planning

  • Organize meetings with Management, plans for manpower as per requirements
  • Set up the working methodology for succession planning analysis, implementation and monitoring

Recruitment management

  • Develop the recruitment and selection process to include: Appointment - Confirmation / Termination / Resignation /Procedures/Process Decide recruitment channels
  • Labor law – Ensure compliance with local labor laws and standards

Compensation Schemes & Benefits Management

  • Review and analyze jobs / roles salaries, ranking and benefit system

Performance Appraisals and Management

  • Formulate effective Performance Appraisal Policy, Procedures and ensure its compliance
  • Review and analyze the performance appraisal managing process

Employees Relations Management

  • Set up policies and procedures for the treatment of employees horizontal and vertical inter-organizational conflicts
  • Enhance Organization communications
  • Encourage and develop employee communications

Human Resources Management Information Systems

  • Review and assess the HR module of the current ERP system Propose potential customization, if needed, on ERP HR module
  • Follow up, guide, and monitor the implementation of ERP HR module
  • Ensure proper management of Staff amenities and occupational and health safety
  • Supporting special projects within the directorate as and when required.
  • Support the HR Officers and managers in researching and developing existing and new policy and procedures
  • Prepare and submit, or oversee the preparation of various personnel reports as scheduled or requested. Conduct research into personnel programs and activities as requested
  • Perform any other duty that may assigned to you


Qualification and Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field from an accredited university is required
  • Professional certificate in human resource is preferable
  • Four (4)+ years experience of strategic Human Resource leadership experience with recent experience in the telecommunication industry
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment regulations
  • Demonstrated success in all Human Resources functional areas within a fast-paced, technically focused environment is essential. Must be hands-on and capable of producing work with limited support staff
  • Membership to an accredited Human Resources body (whether or foreign)
  • Demonstrated experience in and an ability to use a human resources information system and software packages particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Infinium
  • Excellent project management skills including successful leadership of projects from planning phase through completion
  • Excellent leadership skills including; superb communication, delivery of results, consultative skills, partnership skills and team building
  • Experience of maintaining comprehensive records
  • Experience of prioritizing workload, time management and dealing with conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within defined standards
  • Ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information
