Job Title: Business Development Executive


Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra


Job Description

  • Develop a strong understanding of the products and services on offer, along with knowledge of the industry and wider market for instance competitors or economic trends, using this to improve results and services
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, as well as an understanding of each client's ongoing needs and requirements in order to offer a consultative solution, as well as a focus on ensuring each customer's issues are identified and addressed
  • Plan your diary and territory in order to maximise business and exceed targets, with a focus on closing business through sales calls or face to face meetings
  • Actively identify new business opportunities, using a range of techniques to develop revenue growth and optimise productivity throughout the territory. Advise on appropriate products and services from the full portfolio. Closes profitable business and follows through to ensure related actions are completed, including aligning with other Sales Teams and supporting them in establishing, maintaining and growing accounts that may have significant revenue potential
  • Support performance tracking and strategic planning by completing accurate and on-time standardised and adhoc reports of Sales K.P.I.'s, as well as ad-hoc administration tasks


Qualification and Requirements

  • Educated to degree level with previous experience in the legal sector, ideally business or psychology
  • Previous experience within a field based sales role is essential 
  • The ability to quickly develop a rapport with a wide range of clients and customers
  • Minimum 18 months’ experience in a sales role, and functional or industry knowledge and experience in HR/Management Consulting 
  • Educated to degree level with previous experience in the legal sector, ideally business or psychology
  • Hunter sales – prospecting ability 
  • Ability to work autonomously to drive projects forward in a timely and efficient manner 
  • A confident communicator and presenter, happy to work directly with partners and present to a wider audience as required 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication style, with a creative and innovative flair
  • The ability to generate sales lead/opportunities via a proactive approach 
  • Report accurate sales activity metrics when required
  • Able to work autonomously in-line with the achievement of specific individual lead generation targets and KPIs 
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external working relationships 
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability create high level meetings for the supporting sales Executives 
  • The ability to create demand and awareness of the Frost & Sullivan brand and services 
  • High influencing skills, with a confident, proactive and methodical approach
