Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Job Location: Accra

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handles Internal and External recruitment; on boarding and orientation
  • In charge of co-ordinating HR Management in West African English speaking countries
  • Manages global HR process implementation (talent & performance management)
  • Directs administration of compensation and benefits system
  • Implements performance management process
  • Labour Law Administration for West African English speaking countries
  • Staff welfare and Employee engagement
  • Aligning and updating local policies with global changes
  • Subject Matter Expert for all HR System related issues (SAP .....)

Qualification and Requirements
Who we are looking for a manager with:

  • Excellent communication skills and coordination skills and capability of exerting strategic influence
  • Enhance the existing people management practices and policies of Damco Logistics Ghana Ltd, while complying with labour law and Global Damco logistics policies
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Capability to work under pressure & passion to take challenges
  • Good knowledge of West Africa Labour legislation and labour environment in English speaking countries
  • Solid computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Advanced Excel skills and ability to quickly adapt to new systems strongly preferred
  • Should have a 1st degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Behavioural Science or Management; Masters in HR and/or Business Administration
  • Should have at least 5-7 years experience in general Human Resources, organisational design and planning and labour law
