Job Title: Relationship Manager 

 

Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra

 

Job Summary

  • The Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for providing service for all external clients by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products, service level agreements and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the relationship management department and management. The RM at all times represents the clients in his or her portfolio internally while maintaining effective and efficient communication channels

 

Job Description

  • Manage and build relationships with clients in their portfolio allocated to them by the Head of Relationship Management. Client Portfolio management focuses on working to ensure client satisfaction and client retention and growing assets under management
  • Manage client databases
  • The Relationship Manager is expected to ensure that his or her team maintains a client database and tracker(s) that contain: Client information, including their positions, Cross selling and Referral leads and wins (meet financial target), Quarter presentation/Performance review reports and activities, Calls, Visits, Frequency and levels of contacts with all clients in his or her portfolio, Quarterly Statement review, New client payments or inflows and Tasks and completion dates to ensure SLA’s being met
  • Receive updates from the RO and J.RO on all issues concerning the portfolio they are managing
  • Educate staff within their client portfolios and provide other relevant information to their clients
  • Ensure resolutions of concerns raised by clients are done within the time frame stipulated in the SLA
  • Ensure overall client satisfaction through approved and appropriate activities
  • Sell value added services to all clients
  • Responsible for the management of team members (i.e RO, J.RO)

 

 

Qualification and Requirements 

  • A minimum of first degree in any relevant discipline
  • 4 year post national service managing institutional clients and cross selling
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a financial sector
  • Knowledge in securities and investments 
  • Strong financial background
  • Historical leadership role
  • Good Microsoft office suite application skills
